As a UX/UI designer, I had the opportunity to work on a timesheet app that helps businesses and freelancers track their time and manage their projects. The app was designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, with a focus on streamlining the time-tracking process and providing users with useful insights about their work.

To begin the design process, I conducted extensive user research to understand the needs and pain points of both businesses and freelancers who rely on timesheets to manage their work. This research helped me create user personas and a user journey map to guide the development of the app’s design.

One of the biggest challenges I faced during the design process was creating a design that was both comprehensive and easy to use. I wanted to provide users with a powerful tool for tracking their time and managing their projects, while also ensuring that the app was easy to navigate and understand.

To address this challenge, I focused on creating a design that was both visually appealing and highly functional. I used a simple and clean design aesthetic, with a colour scheme that was both modern and professional. The app featured a streamlined interface, with clear and concise information about each project and task.

To enhance the user experience, I included features such as real-time project tracking, automatic time calculation, and customizable reports that allowed users to analyze their time usage and identify areas for improvement. I also incorporated a collaboration feature that made it easy for teams to work together and share information about their projects.

Overall, I’m proud of the design I created for this timesheet app. By focusing on the needs of businesses and freelancers, I was able to create a platform that was both effective and user-friendly. I’m excited to continue working on projects like this that help people manage their time and achieve their goals.
